"Peaceful Morn"
This lovely seasonal quilt was made using the Christmas
Past fabric collection by Minnick and Simpson for Moda. Contrary
to first impressions, this quilt is very easy to
make. Instead of making star blocks with set-in
seams, easy 6" pieced squares are made and assembled
to create stars in the finished quilt. |

"Simply Irresistible"
Featuring Garden Party, Gerri's new fabric collection
for Troy, this quilt makes a wonderful gift for the
birthday girl of any age! Gerri chose a directional
fabric for her outer border. If you choose a non-directional
fabric for your outer border, you can cut all 4 strips
on the lengthwise grain, and will need only 2 yards. |

"Sparkle
and Shine"
Gerri created this glowing quilt using all 28 fabrics
from the "Gradations" collection designed
by Caryl Bryer Fallert for Benartex. Amazingly, this
quilt is quick and easy; made of large flying geese
with no fussy-cutting; the fabric does the work for
you! You may wish to use a design wall to plan out
color placement, or you may opt to position colors
randomly. After quilting, hot-fix crystals are added
as embellishments. |

Easy French country style. Bright fabrics from Windham's

"Simple Elegance"
Minimum Sewing time... maximum impact! Gerri created
this elegant lap quilt using the April Cornell fabric
collection by Moda. The black large print used for
the outer border is directional. Gerri cut the side
borders on the lengthwise grain of the fabric and pieced
width of fabric strips for the top and bottom borders
to keep the birds all in the same direction. |

"Just Peachy"
Gerri combines Minkee Plush Dots by Benartex with
Antique Color Symphony and Mary Rose fabric collections
by Robert Kaufman’s Quilt Gate for this delightful
quilt. The sumptuous texture of the plush is highlighted
by beautiful machine quilting. To complete the appliqué,
Gerri fused the template fabrics and secured the edges
during the quilting process. Do likewise if you wish. |

"Taste of September"
Be a gourmet! Learn to combine fabric flavors. Every
great quilt, like every great meal, requires quality "ingredients," combined
with skill. Let's head for the market (a.k.a. your
local quilt store) and select everything we need to
make a quilt as yummy as Gerri's creation. |
